Presley is a sucker for hucksters. As soon as she loses one in Joey, she finds a new on in this Bill Windsor. It seems the ECO facebook page and several sister sites have all gone offline at the same time. This devastates Joey's master plan B called "slowly leak all my info on to my facebook page through Daddy and Brannon". Well, they never really thought up a plan C so it seems both Presley and Daddy are putting all their rotten eggs in this Bill Windsor's basket. Daddy is hoping he might get his blazer repainted as a result of being involved (why not aim high huh Daddy), while Presley is just glad to have someone put a camera on her and let her venom fly. Meanwhile, poor Joey waits in jail with no way to get his message out, and everyone is turning their attention to another con man. This is like when Barbara Farris first came on to the scene and Connie and Presley where chasing her around like a couple of whores chasing a $20 bill blowing down the street. "Thou Shalt Not Have Any Other Hucksters Before Me" is a passage out of the Joey bible and his Dad and his former beard are violating it.
I will not tolerate another identity theft. That guy in jail stole my Joey Dauben identity and now some other imposter is saying he is daddy Dauben if that identity is taken I will have none. Maybe I'll be margetiris next
ReplyDeleteI don't think Bill Windsor is a scam artist exactly (as I already put 6millions words in the last post). I think he is a false hope. He isn't exactly a user, but he's picked (& passed on to his son) a business model that benefits from other people's products. He doesn't put forth his own money when he can find other willing people to buy into his beliefs. It looks like he's a bit delusional and definitely doesn't drop any fight. Eventually, he won't live up to his promises because, as yappy pointed out, nobody will buy his little movie. At that point, people will either become hardcore conspiracy theorists and claim that politicians are blocking his movie, or they will turn on him & he will become the next Barbara Farris. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Bill has many companies under his belt, not just Alcatraz. He is similar to Farris in the sense that he remakes previous companies. RoundAmerica.com show's the same 'logo' as Lawless America. Its unclear if him and his wife were paid to travel around USA in 2006 but the vehicle logo is same.
ReplyDeleteI don't agree with his style of business, it is basically fraud as far as I'm concerned. Duping people into believing they NEED his travel company to book tours they can do directly online for far cheaper. Yes, he's big on OPM. Is his style criminal? Probably not but its that fine line I have a real hard time with. Its just not how I live my life, I couldn't sleep at night earning money like that.
What's in question right now it appears there's a lien or something on his Georgia home. Daddy Dauben was warned to stay away from Farris early on and didn't listen.
For now, all his lawless america seems is another way for him to gripe about his own issues and have others pay his way to once again, travel the good ole USA. It is using people because several people who are hanging their hats on this guy have probably been screwed by the system (presley and connie NOT being two of them). He's giving false hope, having a good time eating pies, driving around being the center of attention. Narcissism at its finest.
I don't think this guy has nearly as much money as he claims. I think he's living on the edge of losing it all. Maybe it's karma. I wonder why his wife hides her face on all his lawless america pages? How odd. Her photo is on alcatrazmedia and roundamerica website. Why would she hide unless she believes there's something shady going on?

I saw a court document regarding court costs, apparently he'd included private jet flights and Brooks Brothers trips into his supposed court costs. He is totally OPM. When Obama make the statement, "You didn't build that," he looking at (and thinking everybody else is like) Bill. Bill really didn't build that.
ReplyDeletePerhaps the lien is in relation to the Niagara ruling of 400K? Son seems to have money, but it may all be credit. I'm sure Bill made a good bit of money, but he probably spent even more. Sending your kid to England for boarding school is a bit silly for a guy who went to high school & college in Lubbock. There are plenty of good private schools (St Marks) near where they lived in Dallas which would have been less expensive than boarding.
I think Bill probably thinks his business is ethical. I don't, but I think consumers should educate themselves. It looks like most of what he is doing isn't criminal. I haven't found all the other ventures he's had, but Alcatraz is his son's anyway. Looks like Daddy just comes in to fight and make the company look worse.
Supposedly the wife was ill at some point because I saw something about him trying to represent her in court because he had "power of attorney." But, yeah I did notice her photo was on Alcatraz but not Lawless. Weird.

I have a feeling mr Windsor has 'squirreled' away his assets like he's been accused of. He whines in this court document how there's "illegal" liens on his and his wifes assets. Aww anytime something is done to the likes of Connie or Presley, its always 'illegal'. He speaks their language.

I think he rubs me the wrong way OReader because I've been scammed by someone like him a few years back. It wasn't worth it to chase him down and I'm sure he continues on that way because no one will go after him, its more costly to take it to civil court than to just walk away.

You know why else this movie won't go anywhere? It's going to be terribly boring. The interviews they have so far aren't heart wrenching or particularly interesting. There is no POV or format that pulls you in.

ReplyDeleteI knew a guy a while back who got a lot of people behind him on the internet as his vigilante helpers to be the voice and protector of the little guy, if you will. It actually did get picked up by mainstream media. It did become a reality show of sorts. It later all unraveled and several of the key players turned out to not be very good people and totally in it for the money. They used up a lot of people's valuable time and money. They absolutely soured a lot of people that were charitable for the cause. I got screwed by them royally, but more in a lost faith in people sort of way. I can thank them for helping me grow up. I wasted a lot of time and effort on a cause that they ultimately corrupted. I only lost a little money on some care packages I sent the "oh so impoverished" creator who was making 100K off an episode that I was one of the major contributors to for $0. I'm way over it. Lessons learned. But yeah, it does give you a different outlook.
I don't know if you were involved with a similar scammy person in a consumer type of way or in a fight for a cause sort of way. . . either case, it certainly will change you forever. Good and bad.

He let a perfect stranger in NY bail out his baby instead of daddy putting up the Blazer for a 'fire sale' to help his kid. His possessions, however limited they are, mean more to him than Joey. These types of actions tell me Joey IS the way he is because of how he was raised.
How many good upstanding citizens would allow a stranger to bail out their own kid instead of them doing all they could to figure it out themselves?
