Wilson Gets the Joey Facebook Pages Shut Down, Daddy and Presley Find a New False Hope

 

Presley is a sucker for hucksters.  As soon as she loses one in Joey, she finds a new on in this Bill Windsor.  It seems the ECO facebook page and several sister sites have all gone offline at the same time. This devastates Joey's master plan B called "slowly leak all my info on to my facebook page through Daddy and Brannon".  Well, they never really thought up a plan C so it seems both Presley and Daddy are putting all their rotten eggs in this Bill Windsor's basket.  Daddy is hoping he might get his blazer repainted as a result of being involved (why not aim high huh Daddy), while Presley is just glad to have someone put a camera on her and let her venom fly.  Meanwhile, poor Joey waits in jail with no way to get his message out, and everyone is turning their attention to another con man.  This is like when Barbara Farris first came on to the scene and Connie and Presley where chasing her around like a couple of whores chasing a $20 bill blowing down the street.  "Thou Shalt Not Have Any Other Hucksters Before Me" is a passage out of the Joey bible and his Dad and his former beard are violating it.

Presley Daubinates Joey

The summer of love is over. The winner is Mommy and Daddy Dauben's pocketbook as Joey is back on the dime of the state and Presley is out doing God knows what in California. Joey devotes an entire chapter in his book to the love of his life, his fiancé and his soul mate Presley. Well she isn't quite on the same page as she explained on her facebook the other day. Presley says they have a complicated relationship but at the moment they are not together. I guess she plans to wait and see just how Joey's fortunes go in his legal battles. She certianly doesn't have the courage and fortitude to stick by her man's side in his moment of trails and tribulations.

Presley, much like Joey, is a lazy, irresponsible misfit. She wants to pretend she is an adult but she always skips out when the waiter brings the bill. She refuses to hold down a job or work to better herself, instead she wants to continue to chase unicorns and leprechauns around with her partner in crime Connie IBedwell. Unfortunately for Joey, much like his professional career, even his love life was make believe.

Michael Meissner and Jay Hoskins, the Follow Up to the Combine Massacre

Jay Hoskins is lurking on this blog, as he has in the past and did also at the old Elliscountyobserversucks blog as he tries to "set the record straight" in the Hoskins/Dauben/Meissner rent a piggy scandal. Meissner and Hoskins are one in the same, they are both two low rent gypsy cops that are engulfed by their passion to get back at each other (especially Hoskins). Neither one can hold down a job for longer than 5 months and we are talking about small towns that will overlook numerous flaws.

Joey Dauben was unable to stay out of this little feud, and it landed him in jail as a result. He first played on team Hoskins by hiring Jay as a freelance reporter who only did articles about and against Meissner. Then Joey switched over to team Michael (for $50) and published the mug shot.

The lengthy arrest warrant for former small-town police chief Michael Meissner included a string of graphic text messages he was accused of sending to teenage boys, trying to lure them to sex parties. Television news crews flocked to the jailhouse to catch a glimpse of Meissner in handcuffs.

Yet a week after his September arrest, Meissner, 39, then the police chief of Little River-Academy, a small community south of Waco, walked out of the Dallas County Jail a free man.

The seven charges against him were erased, and his $1.5 million bail was dismissed.

Prosecutors in Dallas and Tarrant counties won't say why Meissner won't be tried on charges of promotion of prostitution, possession and promotion of child pornography and sexual performance of a child.

The dismissals baffled the investigating officer, John Hoskins, who said he uncovered the seedy texts during another investigation while working as an unpaid reserve officer for the city of Combine in Kaufman County, near the Dallas County line.

Meissner, who lives in Dallas, denies the charges and denies sending the text messages. He said the allegations are trumped up by Hoskins, an officer Meissner says has been out to get him for years. "I think ... [authorities] knew the charges were bogus; they knew about this guy and this vendetta," Meissner said.

While it remains unclear why prosecutors won't pursue a case against Meissner, documents reveal a bitterness between the two officers that began four years ago.

The rivalry is a convoluted tale of salacious allegations mixed with small-town politics. It pits Meissner, a peace officer who has worked for 18 agencies in 20 years, against Hoskins, an equally nomadic officer.

The two worked side by side in 2006 when Meissner was police chief and Hoskins was his officer in the East Texas town of Caney City. While there, Hoskins investigated a charge that his boss viewed pornography with a minor at the police station on a city-owned computer, according to a police report. The charge, like others against Meissner, was dropped.

Hoskins said his latest investigation isn't about settling a feud.

"I do not have an ax to grind. People like Meissner don't need to have badges," said Hoskins, who has left the Combine Police Department but will not say where he now works, out of privacy concerns.

Like Meissner, Hoskins has had peace officer jobs with several agencies. Since 1999, he has had 14 appointments with police departments, none lasting more than five months.

The investigation has sent ripples through Combine. In the wake of Hoskins' investigation and subsequent resignation, Police Chief Steve Allen, who authorized the investigation, left the department in November.

"The frustrating part of it is there's a criminal that's still out walking on the streets," Allen alleged. Of the charges, which have been dropped, he said, "It's not hearsay - 'he said, she said' - it's straight off his text messages."

The day Allen announced his resignation, the Combine City Council was scheduled to review his employment. In that same meeting, city leaders were scheduled to discuss the fallout from the Meissner investigation, his incarceration and the raid on his Arlington home.

James Heironimus, a former director of the state agency that regulates peace officers, is familiar with the history between Hoskins and Meissner. Knowing that, he said he's sure that Hoskins' investigation is motivated by his desire to settle a score. "It's personal for Hoskins for sure," he said.

Heironimus once investigated Meissner on allegations that he destroyed evidence and documents from a police property room. No criminal charges came of the allegations.

"Certainly someone needs to go in and really look at this thing with less than a jaundiced eye," Heironimus said. "Either ... [Meissner is] doing something wrong or not."

Hoskins has devoted years to trying to alert legislators and the public to Meissner's work history and criminal background through a Web site he established.

Meissner, whose law enforcement career began in 1989, also has faced charges including impersonating a public servant and operating a security company without a license. The charges have all been dropped.

'Barely legal age'

On Sept. 15, authorities arrested Meissner on seven felony counts in Tarrant and Dallas counties.

The affidavit says that while Meissner was police chief at Little River-Academy - and the small community's only police officer - he found a 17-year-old through the MySpace social networking site and began texting and e-mailing him lewd messages. According to the affidavit, the messages promised sexual encounters with others at Meissner's Arlington home.

Throughout almost 5,000 text messages that Hoskins said he obtained from Meissner's cellphone using a search warrant, Meissner allegedly attempted to lure the high school student and others to his home in the 1000 block of Glynn Oaks Drive to participate in sex parties with alcohol, drugs and video cameras, according to the affidavit.

The affidavit says Meissner also received nude photographs from people of "barely legal age."

Combine police seized the e-mails and texts through a search warrant Hoskins obtained in a related case. He had been investigating whether Meissner illegally e-mailed a Combine officer's mug shot to a blogger.

The Dallas County district attorney's office rejected three charges against Meissner, including engaging in organized crime.

"But we don't comment on how we make such decisions," spokeswoman Jamille Bradfield said.

None of the other charges, including promotion of prostitution, possession and promotion of child pornography and sexual performance by a child, have been brought to the Tarrant County district attorney's office, a spokeswoman said, because the judge who signed Meissner's arrest warrant later withdrew the charges.

The judge, Tarrant County District Judge Louis Sturns, said he didn't feel comfortable commenting on his decision.

Previous arrests

Although he has worked as police chief in four small cities, Meissner has been arrested at least four times, including on charges that he tampered with a witness and used a fictitious degree on a job application for the Dallas County Community College District. Meissner was not prosecuted on any of those charges, which have all been dropped.

"I'm not perfect by any means, but there has to be something good about me because I keep getting these chief jobs," he said.

Officials with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education, the agency that oversees peace officers, said it will not suspend or revoke an officer's license without a conviction. In Meissner's case, he has never been tried.

"You're innocent until proven guilty," said Laura Le Blanc, the agency's public information officer. "We have nothing in our rules and statutes that we can take action until he's been found guilty of criminal misconduct."

Hoskins said the state agency needs to have more accountability for who gets a badge.

"We should not have to police our own, but the state needs to do something about it," he said. "I know there are other cops just like him."

The Hoskins-Meissner rivalry began in Caney City in fall 2006 when Hoskins and Meissner applied for the chief position in the Henderson County town of about 225 people.

Meissner got the job and later hired Hoskins as an officer. Just weeks into his employment, Hoskins began investigating allegations that his boss viewed pornography with a 15-year-old boy on a city-owned computer, according to Caney City police records.

The investigation hardly began. According to Hoskins, 31, when Meissner learned about it, he fired him.

Meissner says Hoskins never worked for him, but city records show Hoskins led an investigation of allegations against his boss involving the 15-year-old boy.

Since then, both men have tried to tarnish each other's credibility. According to Hoskins, Meissner has called his supervisors to try to get him fired or to keep them from hiring him when he applied for jobs. Hoskins won't say where he's working now.

Hoskins established the Web site www.michaelmeissner.com - which he has since taken down - to gather tips and warn the public about Meissner's record as a nomadic cop and his arrests. Among the content on the site were copies of a federal tax lien against Meissner and documents accusing him of burning police records and evidence from police property rooms.

Hoskins also appealed to legislators and the media to look into Meissner.

Meanwhile, Meissner floated around, getting jobs with small-town agencies until his conflict with Hoskins heated up again in August, when Hoskins said he discovered the alleged text messages that led to Meissner's latest arrest.

"All I wanted to be was a small-town chief and be left alone," Meissner said. "But this guy does not want me to do it, for some reason. This guy keeps bringing up charges in the past, but they've never went far enough to go into court."

Meissner said that since he left Little River-Academy he has begun coordinating security for a family-owned business in Dallas that he declined to identify.

He filed a complaint of official oppression by Hoskins and others in Combine to Kaufman County District Attorney Rick Harrison in November. Among his allegations, Meissner said that following his arrest, "Investigator Hoskins notified several media outlets and made several press releases in the city of Combine's name to publicly embarrass me and cause harm."

Hoskins is frustrated that Meissner is free. He said there's no telling how many victims he has preyed upon.

"When the justice system has failed, I've tried to get it to the right hands," Hoskins said.

George Spurgeon, an officer of 18 years who once worked with Meissner and is familiar with Hoskins, said many agree - but he said they also feel the same way about Hoskins.

"Most of the officers I know ... would say we'd probably be better off in the law enforcement community if both of them were not police officers," Spurgeon said. Spring 2006 -Michael Meissner and John Hoskins apply to become chief of the Caney City Police Department. Meissner is hired as chief.

August 2006 -Hoskins begins working as an officer for the department.

First of all, reading a chapter in Joey's "book" is like asking Angilina Mitchell to read me a bed time story. He can't stick to the point, he rambles, on and on like a lunatic.

Anyway, with that preface out of the way, Joey addressed the Combine situation that led to his arrest in New Hampshire in 2009. Now the theme of Joey's book is "I have never done anything wrong in my entire life, its always someone else's fault". And true to form he takes ZERO responsibility for getting involved with Meissner or Hoskins. He takes ZERO responsibility for publishing a mug shot of a police officer (a felony). He takes ZERO responsibility for his youtube rant against Hoskins where he says he wants to put a "bullet in his head".

Beyond that though, we learn some ingesting other tidbids. Joey first met Miessnerr as he was speeding through the town of Bardwell and Meissner pulled him over on foot. Meissner knew who Joey was and gave him his business card (and just a warning) and began calling Joey constantly after that for stuff to attack Hoskins on. Well Joey decided to hire Hoskins as a reporter and all of Hoskins articles were aimed at Meissner. This turned into war. Then Joey teams up with this guy named Barry Cooper who is famous for explaining how you can grow marijuana and not get caught. Joey says it "helped that his wife was smoking hot (but she was actually very nice)". Hoskins supposedly edited some comments on the ECO by another low rent cop who of course Joey took a liking too. So Joey fired Hoskins and Hoskins went after him as a result. Joey speculates that it was Hoskins that emailed him that mug shot just to catch him in the act (I guess Joey's pet monkey decided to publish it too). So Hoskins tells Joey he is going to put him in jail if he doesn't spill the dirt on Meissner, and Joey takes to Youtube and threatens to kill Hoskins. So Hoskins brings up charges and has him arrested up in New Hampshire. Barry Cooper has a show called Kopbusters and had teamed up with Hosksins to film a live raid on Meissner's house. But Joey sent a message to Meissner as soon as Joey got arrested and Meissner never showed up to his house and the raid was a bust (heh heh thats just a little pun of mine). About that time, Megan Gray who had been coordinating with Joey, found that the search warrant numbers didn't match with what Tarrant County had. So the whole thing blows up in Hoskins face and both Meissner and Joey go free, but it turns out that New Hampshire didn't get the message until 6 days later, so Joey had to stay an extra week in jail.

So Joey is in bed with two dirty rent a pigs, teams up with a guy who is famous for telling people who to grow marijuana, and somehow all of the crap that results isn't his fault. Oh, I forget to throw a convicted felon named Ali Akbar into the middle of the Meissner/Hoskins piggy fued. Sorry if this all seems disjointed and convoluted, I had nothing to work with.

Besides his book, Joey made a big docu-drop on the ECO2 page right before his bond revocation (I guess he knew he was screwed). The first one we will discuss is "Want to Know why the ECO was Shut Down"? Well it was partly Brandy's fault (passwordgate again).

Joey goes on to say "See, I fired Brandy L. Owen and Curtis Butler from their editor roles on Jan. 14 after I was made aware of postings, broadcasts and published articles that were outright, vicious lies about me after I was imprisoned".

He then goes on to say that Brandy lied and she tried to take over the ECO while not updating the Amber Hagerman story. Joey said "Ironically, Brandy’s takeover and betrayal came after a random reader from New York stumbled upon my Amber case articles…[it was this connection that produced a friendship that ultimately resulted in this New York friend wiring $5,000 to bail me out of jail on March 22, 2012.] This New York friend’s uncle is a Supreme Court justice. Friends in high places indeed. It was also divinely ordered, before Brandy’s mutiny, that the Amber case updates led me to Northern California; three custody and abuse cases I started investigating led me to my future wife, who is moving to Ellis County this month."

He follows up that with this doozy "In my letter to the DA’s office, which is now a matter of public record, I told them about Brandy, Curtis and John Margetis’ three-month campaign to deny me and my family access to The Ellis County Observer in which to mount some semblance of a defense against the property forfeiture. So, the official, public, court record now mentions and details Brandy’s “team effort” of betrayal. Don’t spend the 30 pieces of silver all in one place, Brandy. John Margetis"

And the beat goes on "She is and was a liar, just like Margetis, just like Curtis Butler. She should be a real woman and admit she lied about me. Her lies and association with demons to engage in what she did kept the Amber Hagerman case updates from remaining online; it also severely damaged my family’s efforts to raise money through PayPal for my legal defense and bail. The PayPal button (a special thanks to those who have contributed) was located on the sidebar of The Ellis County Observer." Damn you Brandy, you are the reason he only raised $200, its your fault.

Joey again repeats his earlier claim of "So, Brandy can allege all day long in phone calls about having “the dirt” on me, but she neglects to tell people the three years of “I’m in love with you” and “I want to give you oral sex so bad” text messages…while she’s a married woman of six kids, while her husband was cheating on her with a stripper; can’t forget the lesbian tryst with an ex-reporter." While saying that since he is better than a normal man, he has dealt with Brandy with great patience and understanding. He then goes on to say that she will be, henceforth, forever known as Brandy Van Hoskins. So let it be written, so let it be done.

The Joey Dauben/Presley Crowe Disconnect

Joey devotes an entire chapter in his "book" to Presley, the love of his life the one he is going to marry. Yet Presley is hiding out in Califorinia with her sister in crime Connie IBedwell. No facebook posting, no nothing from Presley related to her future husband going back to jail. Hmmmm, me thinks there is a misunderstanding between the two. Here is Joey on the topic:

Chapter 12: Presley
My story with Presley is still unfolding. It is by no means worthy of a chapter, but of a journey. I am happier now, in the middle of my legal turmoil and travails, than I have ever been. Simply devoting one chapter to her does her no justice. Of all the womanizing and crazy antics I’ve gotten myself into, Presley looked past all that. I knew that one day I would ultimately meet my wife, and I knew that the day Presley text-messaged me with, “since guys mature slower than girls, that’s why it took you 30 years to find me,” she was someone special. She wasn’t just a story, a subject who has been through Hell with her father’s abuse of not just her, but of sister Skyler too. I would need a second book just to talk about Presley, so for that reason, I will cut this chapter short. Books need endings, and right now, our lives together have only begun. Whatever you call it, fate, destiny, divine inspiration, I know it took me 30 years to find her. When Barbara Farris lied and gave her (as she has done with numerous others) false hope of flying Presley to come see me, I was comforted with the fact that one of my sisters flew Presley down. I met Presley while in jail in Navarro County (she visited me two days out of the three she was here), and when I was released, I met her in Red Oak. Ironic that the two towns that my legal cases were based in were also the towns I would meet Presley in. No other person on the face of the planet means more to me than Presley Renae Crowe, and no stunt, legal trick or false allegation from her piece of filth “father,” Shane Sam Crowe (or anyone), will separate that bond I have with her. I’m pressed for wanting to write more, but it will have to wait for a much happier ending than the one this spells.

Sorry my hyperlink option doesnt seem to work with this wordpress format. Anyway this is an interesting story on the events of yesterday. The ironic thing to me is it sounds like Wilson's case was somewhat shaky until Joey did the internet radio show those last two nights. He wasn't able to submit the show as evidence because it had just happened the night before but Wilson played a part of it on his laptop and got Megan Gray to confirm on the stand that it was in fact Joey's voice on the show. That was how they were able to get it in as evidence.

Then again, maybe he was doomed anyway as Joey's defense argued the Kimberly Harrington argument that "its possible that these are his enemies posting this stuff on his facebook page". I dont know why his enemies would post word for word what he was writing in his weekly manifestos as a way to get back at him, but it must make sense to Joey. Unfortunately for Joey, it didn't make sense to Carroll and his bond was revoked.
