So Where Do We Stand Now?

Joey Dauben will have his sentence finalized today and most likely be released after that. Everyone in Waxahachie is waking up to their morning papers and will read a devastating article about Joey on the front page. Patrick Wilson's public bare bottom spanking of little Joey is going to be front and center for everyone to read, meanwhile the Joey camp must remain silent due to his restrictions. I know Joey is probably so furious right now he can barely see straight, his instincts are to lash out at Wilson and his conviction. Joey will feel like the world must hear his version of the story, because after all, if you haven't heard the Dauben version of the story, you haven't heard it correctly yet. But how is he going to pull this off with his restrictions?

Enter Presley. Presley has been living down here for at least two weeks now, most likely in the residence that mommy and daddy subsidized for Joey. This works out for Presley as she was most likely out of places to bum off of rent free to live in. The question is, will she become the new Joey Dauben as Joey is no longer allowed to be? Will she take to the internet and try and fight Joey's battles for him?

Joey Dauben is now a convicted felon. In some ways this will only help him fit in more with his group of acquaintances as many of them already have one as well. But this is going to be a major distraction to his life going forward. No more running for and losing, public office. He will have to finish his career with a salty 0-9 record. His future employment opportunities took a big hit as well with this new conviction. And, probably worst of all, Joey is going to be in a two month holding pattern as his life still hangs in the balance as he waits for his Navarro trial to begin.

So lets have some fun and make our predictions on what will happen with Joey in these next two months of partial freedom. Mine is that Joey will end up being put back in jail for violating his parole by using others as his surrogate to get his message out.

  3. Or maybe we can just play a game of pro's and cons for joey and his new circumstances.....here I will start

    Pro- He gets to sleep in his own comfortable bed tonight.

    Con- A female is going to be in that bed

  4. Wow! Right on the money! Yes, it was.

  5. Pro - No more jail food.
    Con - He can't even afford Ramen.

  6. I see good potential in this new little program. Even if Joey lands himself back in jail, he can get his message out & it'll be just like he's delivering it himself.

  7. I feel Joey will violate the conditions of his probation on his Ellis County charge.

    That is, if he gets released today. You may now have his bond violated in Navarro County as well...... Usually one bond revocation equals another.... Or, Navarro County may revoke his bond after this felony conviction.

    But my magic eight ball says He will end up in prison.

    Your crime is time and you have 18 and life to go..... For some reason that song just keeps popping in my head today.

    Talk about irony prosecutor and convicted by the district attorney who you bashed for many
    years.

    But, if he does get released I am sure he will be back up to his old tricks in no time and back in jail. After all he admits he doesn't ever learn, he didn't learn after his last few run-ins with the police and you see what happened..... If little old red Oak PD can get this case successfully prosecuted I can't wait to see what happens with the sex trial.

    My predictions are that mama and daddy Dauben and the rest of the clan will talk about how this was all conspiracy, and will help fuel some sort of scheme just like Joey Has done. Who knows, the entire clan may end up in jail before this is all over with, as you know they all have the same genetic makeup or lack there of.....

    One thing call this karma. He is just got a taste of what he is dished out. There is more to come. Probably additional criminal charges, and then all the civil trials for everyone he cyber bullied over the years...

  8. I guess I didn't know Joey all that well. I really have no room to talk guys. I just hate seeing misery on anybody, including his vicitms.

    Just to be fair, could somebody like just name a good list of them, (perhaps not even by name, but the general position they were in or what they were about and how he victimized them?). I've devled into a lot of "he said she said" stuff, but I don't know of direct victims of his reporting.

    I only knew him to go after wasteful spending and taxes - and to like women. That's why all this child molestation stuff is just like the twilight zone for me. All I can say is if he did that pokey stuff, it will be felony #2. Texas will give him REAL time for that, at least a DECADE before he would be out. Ugg, gonna lose my lunch after talking about it again. I really hope for the sake of the alledged victim and Joey as a human, he didn't do that.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Lets give you the short list: CPS, judges, prosecutors, news reporters/media, police, chilldren, adults, families.... He had no boundries. I can think of hundreds he went after and cyber bullied.

    ReplyDelete
  10. yeah the list is literally so big I can't even begin to start. We would be better off by going through who he didn't slander starting in ellis county under elected officials, judges, police officers, teachers, administrative officials, and single fathers. Now its certainly possible that out of his 1000's of hit pieces he might have gotten one or two of those right. But a couple of rights doesn't make up for the thousands of wrongs he did.

    And yes, if Joey gets a decade or longer in prison as a child molester, I will feel sorry for him. But either way it wont have any bearing on what ends up happening anyway.

  11. So I'm just wandering through the ECO2 pages to give a few examples. I didn't follow Joey during most of these, so anybody feel free to fill in details. I'm just skimming.

    in 2009 Joey posted a couple of stories where the ex-girlfriend of the Midlothian mayor pro-tem alleges that he is a cheater, a thief, and involved in porn rings. Joey wrote a letter of half apology, basically saying if the allegations are wrong, I'm sorry. She later recanted wrote a public letter of apology. Joey mentions that he'll get up at council meeting to apologize, but I don't know if he did or didn't. I don't see any other written apology from him. Somebody said "do you really think Drudge would publish video of a girlfriend scorned going through a box of sex toys on you tube?" in the comments . . . . Was there really a YouTube video??? Anybody????

    Since he says he deleted the blog postings about this, I don't know what state rep he was spreading lies about, but here are Joey's own words:
    " I want to apologize to our state representative for giving credence to several years’ worth of vicious rumors; that was surely not my intent. I fully support our state representative, I want to be clear about that. I do not, however, support the bile that keeps getting spread around – my intent was to quash those rumors once and for all: and it only made matters worse; I’ve deleted the blog posting about this subject and the subject matter will not appear ever again."

    Here is his list of apologies from the first half of 2008:
    "I apologize to:
    The chambers of commerce in each town;
    The elected officials in each town;
    The police departments in each town;
    The county officials in each town;
    The people who are friends with any of the above who I offended;
    The relatives, wives and children of the aforementioned;
    Neal White, JoAnn Livingston, Floyd Ingram – if I was personal in my attacks, I’m sorry. And upon receipt of an e-mail from either one of them, I will transfer the domain names that I registered.
    Churches and/or religions in which I offended anyone, including my own;
    Officer Bradley Elliott and his family;
    My parents for having to hear about the stuff I stir up;
    Those that really and honestly hate my guts, I’m sorry for the pain and misery I’ve put you through.
    And finally, I apologize to Sheriff-elect Johnny Brown."

    That's what I could come up with in about 10 minutes on one of his own sites.

    Add the conviction.

    I'm sure I could find several more admissions in his "book." Remember, there were a few of the biggies addressed in that one Kristen chapter alone. Meissner/Hoskins being a BIIIIIG one that he got involved in dirty tricks with. He set up websites attacking them. They may have been bad, but it was completely unprofessional & he did NO investigation into their allegations against each other.

    And, off the top of my head, I think it's pretty scummy to have printed the name of his minor accuser on the day he was arrested.

    Joey has posted photos & names of minor children & victims of abuse/sex crimes. He doesn't think twice about the emotional damage he does to people.

    Just the "apologies" above show that Joey never learned from any mistakes & never took any action to avoid repetitively hurting people.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Oh yeah, add all the unfounded accusations and personal information he's dropped regarding the Amber Hagerman case. The family asked him to stop, and he didn't.

    That reminds me of how often he throws in random names of unrelated people into his stories. I saw several instances in stories or in his own comments where he threw in a name of somebody from some random intellus search. Just because somebody has the same last name, doesn't mean they are related. They shouldn't have their name and address posted online in a story about pedophile rings just because the "investigative reporter" failed to actually do any leg work.

    Oh yeah, there was the reporter that he tried to drag through the mud about the photo that he claims she said was a skull. He basically tried to destroy her. I think she got death threats because of it. I'm prone to believe her story over his that she didn't claim it to be a skull. He has no credibility. She had several emails that gave more weight to her story.

    I can't venture to guess who all was hurt in the Megan VanZ stuff, but the blog was used in a very dangerous manner that made accusations about her, her ex, a lawyer, a lawyer's mother, her father . . . pretty much everybody. Again, Joey not doing his homework & then lashing out.

  13. See Jimmy, I've only known of Joey for a little over a year. I have read tons of Joey's own words. I don't even know 1/10 of what he's done. Most of what I've read doesn't even stick because the people he writes about aren't my neighbors, judges, or politicians.

    I first learned about him here:
    http://www.dallasobserver.com/2011-07-14/news/small-town-muckraker-joey-dauben-will-run-the-world-some-day-just-ask-him/4/

    Oh yeah, didn't Joey also get in trouble with that Ali Akbar character? I don't remember the details of that, but wasn't there some questionable computer stuff done? And the guy is also a convicted felon isn't he?

    See, even in the little time I've been around . . . sooo many unethical/immoral decisions on Joey's part.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Yes, there was a video. Joey drives out to her house, puts on his camera and she starts spouting off about the Mayor Pro-Tem Dusty Fryer as she goes through a box of his things pointing out porn vidoes and dildos all on camera that Joey later puts up on his youtube.

    The state rep he is talking about is Jim Pitts and rumors that had about him being gay.

    I still think back to one of his early journey's to the dark side. This was I think his second time to run for Midlothian ISD board and he was running against the chair woman I think her name was Williams. Anyway, Joey had lots of contacts inside the HS (since he just finally did graduate from it) and his contacts told him about Mrs. Williams' under-age daughter having a party at her house with alcohol being served. Joey never bothered to find out who was drinking alcohol or even if that was true, but he went ahead a blasted a story on her calling her a irresponsible mother for doing that. When the blow-back came at him from Mrs. Williams very rightly pleading with Joey to keep her children's names out of his stories, Joey defiantly said this to her "you are an elected public official, therefore you and your family are the property of the public, your kids are my property". Thats when I knew that deep inside of Joey lurked an evil monster. Now knowing just how pathetic his parents were I can see how that monster was cultivated all those years.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Wow.

    There seem to be several cases where he put kids in the spot light. I think teenagers should be help accountable for their actions, but privately. Especially when there are no "victims" involved. There is a reason that juvenile records are sealed by the courts.

    I didn't seem the particular stories, but when I first read the ECO, I remember there were a couple of other stories where he'd posted photos of minors despite parental pleads to leave them out.

    Wasn't there something that he posted about a child playing with a sex toy also? On top of his stretching the truth, ignoring the truth, outright lying, and vindictive rants to destroy people . . . Joey really has no concept of decency.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yeah the idea that Joey has some kind of heart or wants to make a stand for children is totally laughable. Joey never hesitated to go after minors when it came to slandering people. When he eventually decided to make a turn from a taxpayer's rights advocate to a child sex defender it was about trying to capitalize on the easy publicity that comes from it. He wanted to do what Nancy Grace does, and also to strike out in a pre-emptive way against his looming molestation charges.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I think that might have been a generic pic (as in it wasn't a particular kid he was going after just a shock pic to drive home his point). But thats another thing, Joey was obsessed with sexually related sleaze. Thats all he could report about and he would overly focus on the particularly dirty parts of each case. He would even put up cartoons that made light of sex with children. I know Jimmy is overly concerned with his gaydar but when it comes to Joey its much much much more than if he is gay or not. He is obsessed with sexual perversion, simple as that.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Jimmy, you've said that reading the allegations for the Navarro charges make you sick to your stomach. Just reading Joey's blog or excerpts from his book make me sick. While not every article is terrible, a large percentage at least have a moment when Joey opens up to show the true darkness that churns inside him. I was raised not so say things like, " I am so made at So-and-so I could kill him/wring his neck." My parents reacted really strongly when I'd say typical teenage things like "I hate you" or "I wish you were dead." They made me think about how terrible I would feel if those were the last words from my mouth to them. Words have meanings. Joey, of all people, should know this. Yet Joey used words as weapons. He didn't take the time to craft his words thoughtfully to make his point, he was juvenile, trashy, and hate-mongering. Joey is probably lucky that nobody was physically injured or killed because of the false stories Joey printed against them. If that's not a monster, I don't know what is.

    ReplyDelete
  19. It seems that Jimmy is more sick over it being a sexual act between two males than he is it being with a minor. Thats why he keeps rebutting the charges with "he always was dating women", its like his whole world view is upended.

    ReplyDelete
  20. 5 years probation is what he got

    ReplyDelete
  21. Jimmy, you will likely not see this as I suspect it will be deleted before it is read. Understand that the majority of posts here are all one person, who is a vicious manipulative liar and stalker that lives on a mental disability, diagnosed with multiple personalities and involuntarily committed more than once. Her own online vicious lies are as bad if not worse than anything Joey ever did and she is now conveniently using it to blame him for her own consequences. The only reason she isn't facing the same type of felony charge is her mental "disability" and the fact that her father is a police chief and police don't like to police their own. She will twist anything to suit her own sick agenda.

    OMG! Are you kidding? This has got to be a joke.

    It is falling down funny that the Dauben team think Yappy is Shane. But, you are going to have to find another joke, that one's already in use.

    "the majority of posters here are all" MVZ??? What are you smoking????

    ReplyDelete
  23. ok, two points

    1. You are 100 percent wrong about that but much much much more importantly:

    2. Do not bring up that person and don't dont talk about any "disability". I will delete future posts like this because we are not going to get blogjacked by that circus and I'm not doing another round of subpoenas again.

    Get rid of all the warning labels.

    Smart kid.

  26. Sorry, that might have been my fault for kinda bringing it up, but it's just one more time that Joey didn't see that what he published had two (or more) sides. If Bill Windsor was really striving for a cause, this would be the same thing that brings him down. Journalists, courts, and even advocates have a duty to get all sides & substantiate their claims with actual evidence.

    You can delete that if you need. I'm not trying to bring anybody out to fight about something that is ultimately unrelated aside from Joey not practicing due diligence.

    Regarding the people posting here all being the same person. You are dumb. Or that one person is freaking brilliant. Because, everybody here has a different "voice." I could read 90% of the comments and tell who wrote them without looking. Oh wait, that's because I wrote ALL of them.

    And bet theres no way he will EVER make probation....

    Look at these terms!!! Polygraph, haha. Internet monitoring- you name it!

  31. No internet for 5 years?! Basically Wilson owns Joey's balls. Since he never worked and it's a very good chance he never will, some of those conditions won't apply. His entire 'identity' is internet based. Joey doesn't know how to survive without his persona but hey....maybe he'll self-implode. That kind of silence will be golden.

    I figured he'd be remanded to Navarro. What a waste of a life, what a complete and utter waste of skin.

  32. Poetic justice. Karma. It always gets ya in the end...

  33. yeah you got that one right, seems alomst cruel that he violates his navarro bond by losing his ellis county case

  35. No, it's both. A minor is disgusting as well.

    I don't care for homosexual behavior at all.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Also, I've known Joey for about 10 years off and on. Mainly nearly 10 years ago, when he was with the Ellis County Press. Off an on with tax fights through the years.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I'm sorry, I don't buy it.

    I can tell the difference in the consistency in the way people write. Though I don't even know them, the way each person's convictions, sarcasm, and sense of humor works shows individualism. Also the gramatics are a bit different, and the way things are phrased out.

    Police may cut each other a break on a speeding ticket, but if they know felonies are being committed, often they will arrest each other. Most cops are "pretty good", and not crooked. They may look past small ordeals, but not mega stuff.
