How about Those That were with the Freedom of The Press Group

For all those that were a part of the freedom of the press group, either currently or in the past, what would you like to say? What is your thoughts now about what the ECO became and what would you like to say now freely about your time spent there?

  1. I would like to say, I am apologetic. It goes back to the Roots and clean house, minus the megalomania. AND, I am apologetic for any drunk comments on it, on a Friday the 13th, my 33rd. Good ole fashioned illuminati "conspiracy theorist" for ya'll. But, I am in favor of scrutinizing agendas and "youtubing" city council meetings and speaking out. Even what you call my "conspiracy theory" ways, I pray I am wrong.

  2. I'm in favor of that as well but Joey was way to quick to jump to conclusions with little or no proof.

  3. I remember when I first met Joey and mentioned something about some lawyer being a creep who gets referrals from CPS, has sex with the desperate moms and loses their cases for them because he sucks at practicing law and he said, "do you mean to tell me the pedophile ring goes all the way up and around Collin County?" That comment sort of flew over me at first b/c it made no sense. Then later that night when I was meeting with some of his "editors" he said, "tell them that stuff you told me about the pedophile ring in Collin County." I just looked at him wondering WTH he was talking about. Yeah, this particular lawyer is a pedo, but Joey stretched to all of Collin County. Then one of his "editors" said she got a tape recording from her little 5 year old girl that proved the judges and lawyers were sacrificing children as part of Satanic practices at some "castle" or some weird thing like that. I promptly looked for my little pocket tape recorder and...well...you know the rest.

  6. This is a little off topic, but the ECO has story after story of Florida news related to corruption and sex crimes, but they fail pick up on this story of national interest:

  8. www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/crime/os-sex-sting-pro-golfer-steven-thomas-20120117,0,3112349.story

Here is the same story from another outlet. I found this story to be a little more informative without having to read the booking details for all 40 individually.

  9. Feel free to stay on topic, but I just think it is annoying that we get inundated with Florida news that is fairly insignificant in Texas. I mean to say that each place has their own news and battles to fight. Large news stories nationally are significant to me, but they continue to peddle small local issues. Since I neither pay taxes nor vote in Florida, it is hard to rally behind small local stories.

Perhaps I am wrong though. Feel free to call me out. But, the focus of a newspaper helps people know what is going on around them and be able to take action.
