Breaking News, More Charges Coming
This has been suspected and rumored at several places, but today I was finally able to get verification from my sources on the inside that Joey Dauben will indeed face additional criminal charges this time in Ellis County stemming from the July raid conducted by the Red Oak Police Department. The exact counts as well as the nature of all the charges is not yet clear but it will relate to, amoung other things, content recovered from Joey's computers. My sources could not confirm or deny that charges could also be coming from Henderson County which also raided one of Joey's residencs at the time, but the indication was that its certianly possible. Needless to say, with no money and no friends left to support him, Joey is not going to be seen as a free man around here for a long long time.

This is sad. Joey should never have supported the tea party republicans. They are very punishment oriented I am told.
ReplyDeleteyeah and they totally planted evidence on his computer, wrote his columns at the ECO, and tracked down and paid off some kid to make clams about him.
ReplyDeletewhatever is in this anthropomorphic
ReplyDeletefrosty pitcher sure tastes yummy
Finally! Once Joey is put away for good maybe we can all get back to bigger and better things.
ReplyDeleteThey can definitely plant evidence on people's computers. As for his columns at the ECO - that's not part of his charges. And for the kid's claims - he is probably guilty of that. But how many that work in the legal system or in government are not just as guilty if not more for those types of kiddie sex crimes? I happen to know personally that there are a good many sick pervert Republicans running things, doing drugs, and having sex with minors while getting away with it scott-free.
ReplyDeleteDid you know the term "attorney" comes from the Latin for "to turn" - kind of like the name "alitwit"
In fact, the term "attorney" fell so out of favor in England that it was eventually abolished there and merged with the term "solicitor."
A quote: "he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney." [Boswell]
Those who practice the law in England are called "lawyers" and "barristers." Never "attorneys." A shame that American attorneys take pride in being one.
Lorraine and Anthony think they are so fucking smart...here's their latest threat:
ReplyDelete"we know what youve done. we are supplying your EX with information of recent criminal activities. you're not smart. we are testifying at your upcoming hearing in favor of your ex. you will lose."
we know what youve done. we are supplying your EX with information of recent criminal activities. you're not smart. we are testifying at your upcoming hearing in favor of your ex. you will lose.
ReplyDeleteBecause solicitor has such great connotations here in the US.
ReplyDeleteAnd, if you have read anything regarding sex crimes or pedophilia, you'd know that the perps run the gamut of profession, religious, or political persuasion.
Majority are in government though.
ReplyDeleteGinger - wha did i do 2 u to deserve moderation and this threat:
ReplyDelete"we know what youve done. we are supplying your EX with information of recent criminal activities. you're not smart. we are testifying at your upcoming hearing in favor of your ex. you will lose."
Can I be assembly of god? I can learn to love jack coe too?
ReplyDeleteAre assemblies of god pedophiles? Brannon - you tell me, eh? Ginger?
ReplyDeleteOk, just in case anybody reads the babble by what is an attorney, I can't let it sit. We can't have everybody going around regurgitating incorrect info.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea why you think I would be interested in your lesson regarding the etymology of attorney, but you've been misinformed on the background of the word.
Attorney comes from the French word atorné meaning "IN turn," like in place of (agent, representative, apointee), not turn like twist and turn.
Attorney fell out of favor in England because it was a duplicate/redundant word. They classify lawyers in two groups: barristers and solicitors. Generally speaking, a solicitor works more directly advising the client and drafting legal documents. A barrister argues in court and has much less direct client contact. When a case goes to court it is the solicitor that contacts the barrister to represent the client in court.
So while many people may have whatever negative feelings they want for lawyers/attorneys/solicitors/barristers, it has nothing to do with the etymology of the word. And the reason the word fell out of favor in England was due to the distinction between (and specific titles of) different law professionals within their own judicial system.
There is generally no distinction made between lawyer and attorney in the United States. However, if you want the nitty gritty, somebody who has studied law could by definition refer to themselves as a lawyer while only someone who has passed their bar and is licenced can represent themselves as an attorney in a court of law.
So there you go. That is what an attorney is.
@alitwist: Spoken like a true attorney.
ReplyDeleteLet's just say that in Europe, everyone knows that USA attorneys, are bottom-feeders of the law. Point being, they will do just anything to make a buck or a fuck won't they?
ReplyDeleteThe point is, alitwit, that in England, we know the difference between a solicitor and a barrister. In America, you do not. Attorneys in America are bottom-feeders who will do just anything to make a buck.
ReplyDelete@Hairball Never said I was one. I simply stated you weren't qualified to be one.
ReplyDeleteAnd yet I am not the one that chose to misrepresent the facts. Funny how that defeats your statement.
ReplyDeleteAnd really, Texas Wesleyan law school? Isn't that for people who want to work in "night court" or something?
ReplyDeleteAnd really, Texas Wesleyan law school? Isn't that where people train for "night court" or something?
ReplyDeleteMisrepresent the facts???? Ha! That's a good one alitwit. You are funny. No, you are an honest American, aren't you? A good, honest citizen, right?
ReplyDeleteGingerblock...another one coming thru...
ReplyDeleteMisrepresent facts Alitwist??? That is truly ironic that you would accuse someone of such behavior. Very ironic indeed. You are just such a good American citizen aren't you? So honest and forthright.
Third time is a charm... Boy ginger hates me...hee hee
ReplyDeleteAny who...about that "misrepresentation of facts" thingy alitwist...I find that ironic indeed coming from you. Especially, since you are such an honest, apple-pie American indi..I mean citizen.
testing b/c I am being blocked.
ReplyDeleteAlso, with is Texas Wesleyan? Isn't that training for night court or something? Never heard of anything decent coming out of there.
ReplyDeleteSo are you or are you not an attorney, alitwist?
ReplyDeleteI have yet to misrepresent myself here. I have indicated what university I attended, what I studied, what field I am in now, my gender, and even what vehicle I drive among other things.
ReplyDeleteSo what does any of that have to do with me being apple pie all American, what was it you wanted to say? So are you racist or just xenophobic? Do you need to assess my hair and eye color to determine if I am all American enough for you?
But, I thought English were better than Americans? Which is it? Is my nationality or race somehow pertinent?
I have at no time represented that I am or am not.
ReplyDeleteIf you adequately explain relevance, then I might say. However, as of now, I see no reason to.
@alitwist: Thank you. You answered my question.
ReplyDeleteKeyword being used is "here." Have you been so honest in all your dealings mad communications recently alitwist?
ReplyDelete*made
ReplyDeleteIndeed, the question has pretty much been answered. However, I would still like to hear it in the affirmative...just to keep us all in harmony with the concept of not "misrepresenting facts."
ReplyDelete*what
ReplyDeletei am why?
ReplyDeleteIt appears that Alitwist lacks spunk.
ReplyDeletequit using so many different names, wordpress puts you on automatic moderation
ReplyDeleteI dont know, who are you and what is that about?
ReplyDeleteAnd let me reiterate, I'm not moderating anyone wordpress puts you people that keep changing your names with the same IP address in automatic moderation, I'm not doing it.
ReplyDeleteFor someone that wants to be left alone, they sure like the drama. Whoever the opposition is to these two "Road" scholars, they will have a field day.
ReplyDeleteHairball, I had things to do this morning. Please pardon me for sleeping.
ReplyDeleteAs I said, I don't know why you are so preoccupied with whether or not I am a lawyer. It bears no relation to anything here. I do not owe you an answer to this simply because you asked.
If whomever it is asking about Texas Wesleyan is directing that to me, I have absolutely no information to give you regarding the school in general or even the law school. well, I do know it is in Ft Worth. I do not live, have not lived, nor have I ever commuted to Ft. Worth on a regular basis. I have said where I went to school. I have zero connection to Texas Wesleyan.
OMG!! Last night it was Ginger. Now it's Lorraine and Anthony. Who's next? The Easter bunny? Santa Claus? Bigfoot? Oh, I know, it's the Loch Ness monster!
ReplyDeleteMethinks someone's been talking to herself a little too much lately. Her "threat" has her own wording/syntax down pat.
If it wasn't so transparent it might be worth a chuckle or two.
People are playing fucked up games on here - definitely Lorraine and Anthony. Someone is posting as "anon" and sending threats to me.
ReplyDeleteI'm out. You are all screwed up people and deserve whatever bad comes your way.
So I guess this means Joey Didn't get out yesterday as was posted on the ECO? I am fuzzy on the bond though. Is it a CASH bond or I guess a regular bond? He really screwed the pooch this time didn't he? Any clues on what the Ellis county charges may be??
ReplyDeleteI forgot to check the Email me boxes , OOPS!
ReplyDelete@ECO Sucks et al: It must be a CONSPIRACY!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah I don't see any verification of that anywhere. Joey is still safe and sound behind bars
ReplyDeleteJokey is still in the pokey. Confirmed with the jail.
ReplyDelete@alitwist AKA Clickity Clack: How's that 2008 Jeep running?
ReplyDeleteHairball aka lorraine schaffer haake aka legal aid:
ReplyDeleteClickity Clack and I are infact two separate people. I was actually staying with an old friend a couple of nights when dealing with stuff for my father. I was generally posting from my phone except for a couple of points where I jumped on her computer. Once, I forgot to log her out.
She read your posts and agrees you are an idiot. And, she's an engineer. So she has Bab's and Brandy's seal of approval. Next time she and I have a few drinks, I will make sure she comes and says hi!

ReplyDeleteHairball - it's called justice.
ReplyDelete@ECO Sucks: Revenge and justice are the same thing? I guess you learn something new every day, LOL.
